Chartwell, Kent – the home of Winston Churchill

The Smith clan took a trip round to Chartwell on Bank Holiday Monday, and we had a great time. The place is brimming with Churchill-related material (obviously).

I learnt that we share a love of fish keeping – he had 3 outdoor ponds, as well as five fishtanks which he used to take with him to/from Chequers.

I didn’t get any pictures inside (a good excuse to go back) but I did enjoy taking a few in the garden.
